The first results are in! The Global Finalists for GSC 2021

The results of Global Qualification Round 1 (GQR 1) of The Global Student Challenge are in!

The first Global Qualification Round of the Global Student Challenge was held from November 16 to December 14, 2020. During this online event, 31 teams from universities from around the globe competed against each other by playing three rounds of The Fresh Connection. Only the top teams with the best weighted score got the opportunity to continue to the Online Global Final which is taking place in May 2021. So, who are the first teams to qualify for the Global Final of the Global Student Challenge 2021?

The Finalists of The Global Qualification Round One

The first out of three Global Qualification Rounds has come to an end. The first batch of teams to qualify are a diverse group from 6 countries! Congratulations to all teams!

About the Global Student Challenge

The Global Student Challenge is the #1 Student Competition in the world, which allows students to  gain valuable knowledge, further develop their skills, expand their professional network and much more. The Challenge pits teams from top business schools and universities from across the globe against each other in the search for the world’s Top Talent in Supply Chain Management, – Finance, and circular economy.

By participating in this Challenge, students experience the life of a Corporate Executive by running their own virtual company together with their team.

Only 10% of the best performing teams from curriculum courses gets invited to one of the three Global Qualification Rounds. During these GQRs, teams from around the globe compete against each other for a guaranteed spot in the Global Final where they will battle for the Champion title and EUR 10,000 in cash prizes! For the first time ever, students will play all three business games during the Global Final 2021: The Fresh Connection, The Cool Connection, and The Blue Connection. This will be an intense competition among the top value chain students around the world!

Global Qualification Round Two is coming up!

The next Global Qualification Round 2 (GQR 2)will kick off on January 25 to February 12, 2021.  The best performing teams from a curriculum course will be automatically invited and will receive information in the game on how to join the Global Qualification Round.
