Global Educator & Trainer Challenge 2025: Mastering S&OP Constraint Management

Share on:

The Global Educator & Trainer Challenge 2025 (GETC) has officially wrapped up, and what an exciting journey it has been! From October 20 to November 5, 2025, over 130 participants, forming 32 teams, from across the globe came together to battle for the champion title.

This year’s competition centered around the S&OP: Constraint Management learning solution, offering participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the complexities of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), particularly when managing demand increases with internal supply constraints.

What is the Global Educator & Trainer Challenge?

The Global Educator & Trainer Challenge is more than a competition; it’s an immersive learning experience designed to empower educators and trainers with cutting-edge tools and insights.

For Returning Participants: The GETC serves as a platform to reconnect with peers, exchange best practices, and deepen their expertise. It’s an opportunity to explore new features and functionalities in The Fresh Connection and other learning solutions, allowing educators to continuously innovate their approach to teaching supply chain management.

For New Participants: The GETC provides an entry point into the world of simulation-based learning, where participants gain firsthand experience of how to teach complex supply chain concepts. They work alongside experienced trainers and educators to build their knowledge and expand their skills, benefiting from direct interaction with global experts.

For educators, participation counts toward certification in the learning solutions used. For professional trainers, the challenge is part of their maintenance points process.

The Fresh Connection: S&OP Constraint Management

At the heart of this year’s challenge was The Fresh Connection, the world’s leading supply chain business game. Built around 10 versatile learning solutions, it allows participants to confront real-world supply chain challenges.

This year’s theme, S&OP Constraint Management, challenged participants to navigate the complexities of balancing demand and supply, while addressing internal constraints that impact operational efficiency and decision-making.

Participants worked collaboratively to:

  • Experience the power of a structured S&OP process.
  • Understand the impact of constraints on your S&OP process.
  • Make sales forecasts based on channel and product choices.
  • Develop a clever policy on assortment and channels to structure your portfolio.

Their ability to design and implement effective S&OP processes, analyze data to manage increasing demand with production constraints, and collaborate as cross-functional teams was the key to their success.

New Updates & Testing New Features

The GETC is also an exclusive opportunity to experience and be the first to be updated on our latest developments. This year, participants were the first to explore our newly launched Material Library, designed to make accessing teaching materials easier, faster, and more intuitive than ever before.

In addition, the competition setup also included two of our newest AI add-ons designed to elevate the learning experience with personalized feedback:

  • Dynamic Debriefs: This feature offers round-by-round, AI-powered personalized feedback, helping participants gain new perspectives and deepen their understanding.
  • Belbin AI Team Roles Feedback: This tool provides detailed insights into team dynamics and individual roles, helping participants assess strengths, identify areas for growth, and improve collaboration and team performance.
