About The Blue Connection

The Blue Connection is a cross-functional strategic business game focused on Circular Economy. The simulation game challenges the participants to transition a linear supply chain into a circular value chain while increasing the Return on Investment of a (virtual) manufacturing company of e-bikes.

The Blue Connection is versatile and can be used for courses of varying complexity and at all levels of higher education so students can develop their hard- and soft skills. Additionally, it can be used for in-company training to help foster cross-functional alignment and highlight the importance of adopting a circular strategy.

The Blue Connection is now available with textbook Mastering the Circular Economy by Ed Weenk and Rozanne Henzen, making it easy to implement the business simulation game into your curriculum.

Learning outcomes:

  • How the business game works
  • How to integrate the business game in a course/training
  • How to enhance the learning outcomes for the participants
  • How to debrief and evaluate the participant’s results

Getting certified as an educator is free of charge for all educators, professors, (guest) lecturers.

Getting certified as a trainer to deliver training to professionals, comes at a cost of EUR 300.

Note: You will receive certification upon successful completion of the full training
