Book webinar: ‘Mastering the Supply Chain’ with author Ed Weenk

Monday, October 3rd 2022

15:00 - 16:00 , CEST (UTC+2)

Wherever you are... Online!

In the post-COVID 19 world, companies feel the increasing need to rethink their supply chain strategies. Not only to make them more feasible and streamlined but also to make them more sustainable. However, in order to make such a change, it is important for companies to come up with an ideal strategy that takes into consideration all the phases of a supply chain. This requires companies to have a clear vision and a proper idea of execution.

In his book, ‘Mastering Supply Chain’, Prof. Ed Weenk blends the theoretical aspect with the practical learning experience through our business simulation game, The Fresh Connection. The book presents a unique way of learning, where the reader experiences a life-like situation that helps them understand the impact of their decisions. They get the chance to witness how concepts play out in real-world situations through an interactive demonstration of The Fresh Connection.

During this webinar, Prof. Ed Weenk will dive deeper into the dynamics of blended learning and the kind of role it plays in the understanding of supply chain management. There will also be time for you to ask any questions you may have!

About The Fresh Connection

The Fresh Connection is an innovative web-based business simulation game. It engages participants in turning around a manufacturer of fruit juices. In teams of 4, participants will represent the functional roles of VP Purchasing, VP Operations, VP Supply Chain, and VP Sales. Participants will be confronted with various real-life, real-time dilemmas. Cross-functional understanding and collaboration are key components, as teams work together to turn the company around. The Fresh Connection is a versatile learning experience that can be adapted to meet the learning objectives required by higher education institutions and companies.
