Through two additional rounds of individual gameplay, the tool converts each student’s decisions into a performance score report based on real results. No subjective interpretation. No risk of AI-generated submissions influencing grades.

Two rounds of individual decision-making

Students complete two individual rounds in The Fresh Connection. Before starting, student selects a strategy path (cost-effective or responsive). Round 1 serves as a warm-up; only Round 2 determines the final performance score.

Performance-based scoring report

Educators receive a structured report with individual scores across three criteria: (1) Return on Investment, (2) Strategy Implementation, (3) Supply Chain Performance (KPIs). A final score is calculated as the average of these three dimensions, with the option to adjust weighting to align with course learning objectives.

1–5 scoring scale with conversion options

The scores are generated on a 1–5 scale and can be easily mapped to institutional grading systems, including percentage-based formats. Conversion tables are provided to support Dutch, American, and other international grading models.

Final grading

The tool does not communicate directly with students. Educators review the performance report, apply academic judgment as needed, and assign final grades in their LMS. The tool supports assessment; it does not replace instructor authority.
ChatGPT-proof / AI-resilient

Assessment is based on decisions and performance outcomes inside the simulation, not written submissions. This prevents AI-generated responses from influencing results. The Fresh Connection requires applied judgment and cross-functional decision-making that AI tools cannot replicate or execute on behalf of students.

Alternative datasets for retakes and new cohorts

Different simulation datasets ensure students cannot reuse or share answers across attempts or semesters.

Anonymous student logins (Optional)

Students cannot access previous team gameplays or historical decisions within their account, ensuring each attempt is independent.

Compatible with university proctoring solutions (Optional)

Can be used in combination with university-approved proctoring solutions for online or in-person exams. Institutions manage and configure proctoring settings within their own systems to ensure alignment with internal security policies.
